UNDESERVED JUSTICE

So while I usually do not take huge cognisance to very important things of the country that do not interest me, I could not let this one go and say nothing about it.
I speak as a young teenage citizen and a student who closes her eyes to grave things for her sanity,but can't look away from this one. I am appalled at the level at which murder and blood thirst is taken so lightly amongst so called humans and not animals.
The news of the 7 year old child did get to me, but we're getting contradictory news as regards if he is a 7 year old or a 20 year old. I refuse to care what age the victim was. All I care about is that he was killed brutally for something that could have been handled in a better way.
Some people are against it cos, our leaders do worse and they dont get punished. But the truth, I care less about that fact.
Lives should be valued and treasured. Jungle justice have been in existence longer than we know, but its wrong. There should be a law enforced against it, and the punishment shouldn't be lesser than that of those who commit actual murder crimes.
I'm shouting against injustice.
Even if they did steal, hand them over to the police. Lots of lives have been lost over this animalistic acts.
We are human beings, not cannibals.
Some would do this and go home at night to sleep... Pure savages. Love is a far cry from this ignorant people.
Vengeance is of the Lord, no one has the right to mett out punishment except the law enforcers.

Chronicle of my Lagos ‘waka’ 1

So, my two weeks working holiday has been interesting, eventful, and had left me with a sore back and bumbum from hours of sitting in danfo ‘Lagos yellow bus’ (that signifies your presence in Lagos) School and exams have been overwhelming and I’m looking forward to holidays, because in my mind, I’m gonna flex and chill, hang out with friends and a lot of that sturv, I legit had plans. Then, on getting home, with the confirmation that I’m not gonna flex as much for lack of funds (cos I’m not broke in Jesus name) I’m like “okay, at least if I’m not flexing, I should go out sha” Somehow somehow, God helps me, I get a job.. Hallelujah, I was so excited when I got the call, I was legit dancing, and I even offered to cook jollof rice for my family that night, cos I do not offer to cook on a Sunday night, I’m always forced.
