My Teenage self 1

I heard from an elder in my church that teenagers are the most stupid set of human beings. When I heard it, I was a young teenager, and of course it didn't sit well with me, until I confirmed the stupidity as I grew up. I'm still a teenager though.

I might not be the regular and average teen girl you'd have seen, or that you are, but at the same time, I might just be. Its not as fun, but it was fun to me and very realistic. Most times I would think I was living someone else's life, but in the real sense, I was just acting out my teenage self.

I remember when I was 13, and in SS2, I had this seat partner, his name( I refuse to tell, maybe because some would know) he was a neat freak, he was always obsessed about his appearance, he would practically bark at you if you stepped on his shoe, bring out his shoe brush and shine it again. And I'd just laugh and stare. He was quite the intelligent one, taking assignments seriously, and complain if he got a 6 out of 10. At a point, I had a crush on him, I can't remember if I did first or he did, all I knew was I liked him, and he liked me too.
The reason for my crush would have maybe been because he was smart and neat. Well, we got close, always talking, exchanged numbers. As at then, 2go was our go to social media.

And I remember I wasn't a fan of it, but when he came up, I had to sign up for it ASAP. We were always chatting about what I can't exactly pin my head on.

It was really cool then. Our classmates noticed, and they pinned the 'relationship' tag on us. It was embarrassing but fine with us. We didn't define what we had, we were cool with it. And even till date, if CRC wanted to mention couples in my set, they'd mention us, then remember that we were not exactly serious like the others. Did I forget to mention he was my date to prom( that is another story entirely). I remember that it was when we got home from our valedictory service, we 'broke up'.

I instigated it, and he went with the flow. Thinking of all that drama, years after, confirmed the stupidity, confirmed childishness, but it was fun, it really was. Fortunately, both of us are in the same university.

My point is, things that look like the real deal to us, becomes silly when we mature in age, but at that young age, we tend to disregard the words of the older guys, and most times, discard it as trivial. Next time, you might just want to consider and give thoughts to what they have to say, before making a decision

Secondary school was fun, and I enjoyed and savored every moment I could get. Cheers! #pecan
P.S I'm going to be posting pictures of myself as a growing girl... Enjoy
