The ideology between this day and that day

So I was up and about listening to gist as usual, when I incited one by remembering that it was world poetry day, that's how gist started.

So we started wondering how someone can just wake up in the morning, know that he has nothing to do, the day looks boring, then posts on the social media, something something day, and it'd start trending, everybody now believes that day to be special.

Ahnahn, people and trends. That's how I read a story about this firm, they have a routine of 2-3 people standing guard at night. For decades, its been a norm, until there was a new supervisor that asked why the routine, most of them didn't know, until he carried out investigations, and they found out that the supervisor that brought up the routine was trying to guard their products from intruders, now they have the machinery they use to do that, manpower is no longer needed, but they took it as routine without asking questions, and time and energy has been wasted for years

Without digressing so much, some trends are just out of human boredom, and you that is busy would take it up as extra activity.

My brother brought this one about white wedding dresses. It could have been a couple talking to themselves about how the lady wants to wear her beautiful white dress, and the guy says he would wear a suit on their wedding day. Now, once you don't wear white wedding dress and suit, you'll start hearing is that one white wedding, why the change, maybe it was just court wedding in church, their parents won't even agree at first.

Smh
Help yourself and ask questions, so as not to be ignorant of things you should be aware of.
P.S- That's how we don't know exactly when the legendary mother/father's day is.

So that it won't be that is only me that can talk, I want to read your comments

  1. Dates are really important for reference purposes. Buh I think Trends attached to days are more effective when it's personal (to the trendsetter) and when the trend follower can relate, rather than generalized ones.
